Sixty free places up for grabs as Commercial Awareness Question Time summer season commences
Legal Cheek is partnering with the London office of leading US law firm Shearman & Sterling to hold an exclusive debate about the General Election for students.
The session takes place on the evening of Monday 5 June — three days before the UK goes to the polls — at Shearman’s City of London base.
A panel of three top lawyers from across the firm’s practice areas will answer questions from an audience of 60 students about what the election means for the City and UK business.
Also on the agenda will be Brexit and the future of the UK-US trade deal. With Shearman & Sterling a major force on both sides of the Atlantic and in the EU, students will have a unique opportunity to hear directly from experts about these macro issues.
After the hour-long Q&A, running between 6-7pm, there will be drinks and networking until 8pm.

Students of all levels are welcome, but places are limited.
